University of Montana Journalism dean, Peggy Kuhr comes full circle in return to home state

Peggy Kuhr has followed a prestigious path from Great Falls to her new position as dean at the University of Montana School of Journalism in Missoula.
But if not for a few encouraging words from one of her former journalism professors, life for Kuhr may have taken a different career track. In her sophomore year at the University of Montana, the C.M. Russell High School graduate with a penchant for writing signed up for professor Bob McGiffert's Reporting 101 course — a first step for all journalism prospects.
