Featured Idaho Talent - Finance and Business Development Professional

January 30, 2008View for printing

I am currently seeking a new position in the Intermountain West that values my experience to date in early stage businesses (start-ups to $30M in revenue) and early-stage venture finance. Specifically, I would like to either move back to a company role in business development or product management working closely with or on a management team, or find a business owner looking to transition their company to a new owner.

In support of my search, I believe that my 8 years of work experience has given me the ability to successfully navigate the challenges faced by start-ups and companies with revenues under $30M. Currently as the Associate at Highway 12 Ventures (http://www.highway12ventures.com), an early-stage Boise based venture capital firm with nearly $100M under management, I participate in most of the firms activities either directly or alongside the partners. Previously, I achieved positive results for early and growth stage companies in business development and sales roles. I am most effective when interacting with customers and partners, fostering relationships, building and working on cohesive teams, and contributing to strategic planning and analysis. In addition, I earned an MBA with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and venture finance from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and a BA from Brown University.

Lastly, I would like to remain in Boise, but would move for the right opportunity.

I appreciate your willingness to keep my search in mind and to share this message and my resume with interested parties.
