MATR teams with Amazon to recommend great entrepreneur and business books to MATR readers.
| January 23, 2008 |
I've been very happy to loan out a number of the books I have on entrepreneurial and business subjects to a host of people. I'd like to ask that if you have one of those books that you return it... please. I'd like to be able to loan it out to the next person.
Learning as much as you can about how to best develop a company and get it funded, if that's what you're looking for, should be a key focus for every entrepreneur.
John Masterson at Modwest http://www.modwest.com has just helped me implement a feature from Amazon in the upper right hand corner of the home and story page that will allow me to post recommended books that could help you develop your business to greater levels of success.
I'm starting off with a book that I highly recommend. "SMARTUPS" http://www.amazon.com/dp/0801488311? ... assoctec-20 by Rob Ryan of Entrepreneur-America http://entrepreneur-america.com/ in Montana is a must read for anyone who wants to be an entrepreneur, knows an entrepreneur or can spell entrepreneur.
I'd like to ask that if you have read a book that you think is worthy of recommendation that you let me know russ@matr.net so I can pass it along to those who use MATR as a resource. I'll be changing the listing on a regular basis so take a look at it when you visit the site. Disclaimer- yes, I do get a percentage (wow...4%) of any books that are purchased but this will go to help compensate for the many hours I spend finding the stories and answering e-mails and phone call requests for info or introductions...and buying more books so that I can pass along the best of them to you.
Thanks,
Russ
