Billings School District 2 trustees are going beyond just turning off lights and adjusting the thermostat to save energy.
The board has decided saving energy is worth $1 million and on Friday offered a tentative five-year contract to Energy Education Inc. http://www.energyeducation.com/
The company, based in Wichita Falls, Texas, specializes in energy conservation management for schools and promises to save the district at least $3.7 million in energy costs over five years.
