The Montana Meth Project http://www.montanameth.org is a unique public-private partnership with the mission of saving lives by dramatically reducing methamphetamine abuse in the state of Montana. A large-scale exercise in prevention, the Montana Meth Project is focused on significantly reducing methamphetamine abuse through public service messaging, public policy, and community action.

The Role:

The executive director is the chief executive officer, reporting to the board of directors.

Responsibilities include: budgeting, planning, program management, fundraising, public speaking, marketing, community outreach, and government relations. The executive director will manage the Montana Meth Project, combining the best practices and dynamics of both public action and private sector initiatives.

The Candidate:

# Senior level management experience with a track record of demonstrable achievement and goal attainment

# Superb interpersonal communication skills and decisive leadership ability

# Excellent writing skills, public speaking ability, and creative marketing skills

# Considerable experience and familiarity of the Montana community

# Graduate degree preferred or undergraduate with equivalent experience
