Washington State University Host Competition that Seeks Fresh Solutions to Global Energy Needs from High School Students

Four-figure prize money may catch their attention, but high school students across the state will get involved to pursue a greater reward: the chance to make the world a better place. The new Imagine Tomorrow competition hosted by Washington State University http://wsu.edu/ mobilizes student teams to develop solutions to the planet’s growing energy needs.

More than a mere contest, Imagine Tomorrow http://www.imagine.wsu.edu/ seeks actionable ideas to address energy issues that shape our future, organizers explain—and donors agree. Thanks to the generosity and vision of sponsors that include The Boeing Company, The Bullitt Foundation, Vulcan, Inc., the Washington State Department of Ecology, and many more, the competition will award prizes of up to $5,000 for the students and their schools who present the best overall concepts.
