US WiMAX operator DigitalBridge Communications has raised $20 million in venture capital to expand operations in the West and Mid-West

The US WiMAX operator DigitalBridge Communications http://www.digitalbridgecommunications.com/ has raised USD20 million in venture capital from a number of investment firms, including Paladin Capital Group, redShift Ventures, CNF Investments and Novak Biddle Venture Partners.
The telco has already raised $11 million in an earlier round of financing. DigitalBridge currently offers fixed WiMAX services in the cities of Rexburg and Pocatello, Idaho; Missoula, Montana; and Washington, Indiana.
The new funding will help finance an expansion to over 15 new markets covering around 2.5 million people in the US West and Mid-West.
