New energy degree offered in Montana

As Governor Brian Schweitzer pushes for development of renewable energy in Montana, Universities in the state are offering a new energy technology program to prepare students for careers in the energy industry.
The University of Montana College of Technology http://www.cte.umt.edu/ and Montana Tech http://www.mtech.edu/ have teamed up to offer the two-year associate degree program in emerging, renewable and alternative energies. Students in Butte and South West Montana can take classes at Butte's campus instead of relocating or driving to Missoula.
