The Montana Chamber of Commerce Business Days at the Capitol opens Thursday, Jan. 17 in Helena. Senator Tester to Keynote

The Montana Chamber of Commerce Business Days at the Capitol opens Thursday, Jan. 17 in Helena with a noon luncheon at the Best Western Helena Great Northern Hotel.

Karen Olson Beenken, the chairwoman of the Chamber’s board, will present the "State of Business" report.

Sessions on issues including: international trade; state revenue, energy; taxes; healthcare and workers compensation will be held from 1:45 to 5 p.m. at the Capitol Building.
Montana State University College of Business management instructor Gary Bishop will discuss "The Business of Customer Service" from 1:45-3:10 p.m. Jan. 17.

Senator Tester to Keynote Chamber Business Days

U.S. Senator Jon Tester http://tester.senate.gov/ will be the keynoter during the Legislator Appreciation Banquet for Business Days at the Capitol 2008. Business Days is the largest general business event of the year for the Montana Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held Thursday-Friday, January 17-18 in Helena.

“We are delighted that Sen. Tester accepted our invitation to speak at this event,” said Karen Beenken, Chair of the Board of the state chamber. “He has been a speaker at several Business Days programs in the past – as a state legislator. This will be the first time he has joined us since becoming a United States Senator.”
