Keeping track of things on paper seems so old-fashioned, but in many of the nation's assisted-living homes, that's exactly how most caregivers keep track of medications given to residents.
A new Eagle company hopes to put an end to that, replacing an often cumbersome and sometimes inaccurate process with a software program. Called QuickMAR, the software allows caregivers to track medications via a laptop computer.
