Professional Management Consulting Practice commences Rocky Mountain Operations

Dr. Joe Michels, P.E., former Dean of the College of Business at Montana State University- Billings, is named the Principal in charge of the Billings, Montana office of the professional services management consulting practice.

Dr. Michels is a retired Air Force Colonel, serving more than 29 years in the United States Air Force. He held a wide variety of key staff and command positions, including working in the Pentagon in the Office of the Air Force Chief of Staff, Joint Program Manager at the Defense Logistics Agency as well as Defense Threat Reduction Agency. He served as the senior military Dean at the School of Systems and Logistics, Air Force Institute of Technology. His rich leadership experience includes selection as a Forrestal scholar at the Naval War College, as well as commanding units at wing, group and squadron level. He holds advanced degrees in engineering and policy science, is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Montana and Texas as well as being a Certified Professional Logistician. He served as Dean of the award winning College of Business at Montana State University-Billings from 2002-2005 prior to joining Solomon Bruce Consulting LLC.
