Bozeman native wasn’t sure about Butte at first, but now appreciates the “largest” small town in Montana.
| December 29, 2007 |
As the year comes to a close, I want to thank everyone in Butte and the surrounding areas who have made me feel at home.
In my first year (actually, 10 months) as the extension agent for Silver Bow County, I’ve learned that the people in Butte http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butte,_Montana are among the nicest I have met.
There is also an unmatched desire here to help one another in the area. I saw firsthand how the community rallied to help Dylan Dallaserra, a 4-H member who suffered head injuries while riding his motorcycle.
This is something you would see in a small town and why I affectionately call Butte the “largest” small town in Montana.
