The TechRanch Foundation is a new independent 501 (c) (3) organization supporting the entrepreneurship education and business related economic development efforts of TechRanch http://www.techranch.org.
The Executive Director of the TechRanch Foundation reports to the TechRanch Foundation Board of Directors and works with the Executive Director of TechRanch. The Executive Director of the TechRanch Foundation is responsible for raising funds from both private and public sources in order to support the initiatives of TechRanch and the TechRanch Foundation. This person will assure the financial well-being of TechRanch and the TechRanch Foundation.
The position requires a thorough understanding of soliciting major gifts, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a high level of competence in making presentations to potential donors, professional advisors, board members and non-profit (giving) organizations.
Expected Hire Date: March, 2008
