Online Services Move to Level The Playing Field for Recruiters
| December 19, 2007 |
Until recently, recruiter Stan Housden wasn't able to win business from large, public companies such as HCL Technologies Ltd. Then in April he discovered http://www.BountyJobs.com, an online service that lets recruiters compete for search assignments from big employers and others.
Mr. Housden has since helped fill six positions at the global technology company, earning his boutique search firm, Precise Staffing Solutions LLC, about $90,000 in commissions. He's currently representing candidates for jobs at other big businesses, including Safeway Inc. and Deloitte & Touche LLC. "These are companies that my firm probably would never have had a chance to work with," he says.
