As Missoula's high school seniors fill out their college applications and tell everyone where they plan - or hope - to go next year, guidance counselors at two of the city's public schools are seeing some new and unexpected trends.
This year, students are staying closer to home, more students than ever are looking at schools that provide international learning experiences, more students than ever plan to attend the University of Montana's College of Technology, and fewer students are enlisting in the military.
