Inside Entrepreneurship: LLC ownership may shape charity decision

Q: I own an LLC that provides consulting services to small businesses. I have not taken a salary yet but want to give some donations to charities and faith-based institutions. Can I reduce the profits from my LLC by making a business contribution instead of a personal contribution? Is there any limit on the amount of donations I can make?
