Montana Launches E-Records Committee

Montana Secretary of State Brad Johnson convened the Electronic Records and Information Management (eRIM) Steering Committee http://sos.mt.gov/ to establish policies for managing electronic versions of public documents and other public information on a statewide basis.
"Montana has a rich tradition of open government," Johnson said. "This committee will help us preserve documents for the future, so the public can always have access."
