| November 25, 2007 |
Stanford University is building an ultra-luxury hotel on Sand Hill Road that's designed to attract high-rolling venture capitalists who can plunk down $400 or more a night.
Complete with a full-service spa and a posh restaurant, the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel is well into construction just off Interstate 280 at the top of Sand Hill Road, sometimes referred to as Venture Capital Row.
Set to open in 2009, the 120-room hotel/spa is being built on 21 acres owned by Stanford University.
