For her students, developmental math finally adds up

"If I were to tell you, ‘I can’t read,’ or ‘I can?t write,’ are you going to be laughing? Why is it socially acceptable to say, ‘I can’t do math’?" asks Rosemary Karr, math professor at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas.
