New Seattle VC firm targets the early, risky stages

A NEW Seattle venture capital firm, led by real estate and board game entrepreneur Craig Kinzer, is looking to place 20 to 30 early-stage bets in a diverse crop of startup businesses.
Other partners in the firm include Jan Hendrickson, a former investment banker who previously served as the chief financial officer of Sound Transit and the Port of Seattle; Russ Daggatt, the former president of Teledesic; and Stuart Williams, the founder of Pacific Real Estate Partners.
Advisers, who are playing a key role on investment strategy, include ShareBuilder Chairman Jeff Seely, former Expedia Chief Executive Erik Blachford, Targeted Genetics Chief Executive Stewart Parker, former Washington Mutual executive Brad Davis and NBBJ principal Scott Wyatt.
