Seattle VCs missing clean tech boom

A FEW MONTHS ago, The Economist mentioned some of the U.S. cities and regions -- Boston; Austin, Texas; Silicon Valley; and even Toledo, Ohio -- that were trying to become hubs for the booming clean tech industry. Noticeably absent from the list was Seattle, with the magazine noting that very little was going on here other than a whopping financing round for biodiesel producer Imperium Renewables.
