Whitefish, Montana Business Park First of its Kind

With new subdivisions a norm in Whitefish in recent years, it seems unlikely one would be the first of its kind. But when Whitefish residents call Remax sales associate Scot Blair asking about lots they assume are for condos or townhouses, they’re surprised to learn no one will call this subdivision home.
The 16-acre business park currently under construction on Baker Avenue next to The Wave aquatic and fitness center is making use of a zoning district created in the city’s master plan in 1996, but never used until now. It’s a commercial zone that allows for some light industrial uses and financial institutions and requires a more intensive site plan with landscaping and parking considerations.
