Grow Montana recognized for efforts

The work of a Butte-based group to bring fresh, locally grown produce to schools, prisons and other public institutions in Montana was honored this week in New York City.
Grow Montana http://www.growmontana.ncat.org ., led by director Nancy Matheson, a Conrad native, and policy director Crissie McMullan, received the 2007 Glynwood Good Neighbor Harvest Award from the Glynwood Center in Cold Spring, New York.
The award recognizes efforts to promote local food distribution and processing.
