New Web site helps Montana families prepare for college

A new Web site for Montana students and their parents offers help and specific steps for getting into college, starting as early as middle school.
The Web site -- at http://www.knowhow2gomontana.org -- is an extension of a national initiative to encourage and prepare more low-income and first-generation students to get into college. Montana's version was launched by the nonprofit Student Assistance Foundation http://www.safmt.org/ and other members of the Montana College Access Network http://www.smartaboutcollege.org/hel ... -access.jsp .
The Web site suggests four steps to guide students toward college:
