UWB may redefine wireless

Ultra-wideband, or UWB, is a new wireless technology that could eliminate the USB cables that connect a computer to external devices, such as a printer. The technology only works in the short range and is currently quite limited in its capabilities. However, in the long term we could purchase a printer with UWB built in so that it can connect to any computer without any cables.
