University of Montana scientist Steve Running shares in Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore

University of Montana forestry professor Steve Running http://www.forestry.umt.edu/personnel/faculty/swr/ gets a piece of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded Friday to Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
That’s because Steve Running, one of the nation’s foremost experts on climate change, was a lead author of the 2007 United Nations IPCC report that presents strong evidence that humanity is artificially warming our world.
