Canola biodiesel plant near Velva first of its kind in North Dakota

Canola biodiesel is now being manufactured in North Dakota.

Dignitaries and employees from Archer Daniels Midland Company, local, state and national politicians and economic development personnel gathered in a tent outside the ADM plant Wednesday to celebrate the official opening of the first wholly owned canola biodiesel plant in the United States.
