Idaho Educators, industry come together to help educate students about career opportunities in state.

Educators from the Post Falls and Lakeland School districts were treated to a tour of their choice from 11 different vocations Friday morning, for the second year of "Education-Industry Partnerships — Connecting the Classroom and the Workplace."

Born out of the Post Falls chamber’s business and education workforce development committee, the objective of the tours is to have businesses open their doors to teachers so they can tour the business and learn about what they do. The teachers can then take the information back to their classrooms and plant the seeds of job opportunities for high school students after graduation.
