A resident of Lincoln County whose only source of television is via satellite, I learned of the Meth ads over the Internet. Federal law requires that satellite services provide us only with Spokane, Wash., stations. Although this poor, rural county has a major meth problem, our youth, except for those with access to cable TV, don't see the Montana Meth Project ads. The bottom line, unfortunately, is the bottom line for Spokane's broadcasters, who effectively ignore their captive audience in Montana. |
