Bitterroot Valley business owners have the opportunity to attend a lecture series detailing how to survive in the midst of big-box stores, retain employees, target customers and other pertinent factors in the world of independent businesses.

Members of the Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce Board voted on the creation of the lecture series as a means to give back to local businesses, said Pat Easley of the Bitterroot Chamber of Commerce.
