The National Science Foundation awards $750K grant to Montana Tech in Butte, Montana

The National Science Foundation has awarded Montana Tech http://www.mtech.edu/ a three-year grant for $750,000 through the Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research.
The grant will support three programs at Tech.
Joe Figueira, associate vice chancellor for academic affairs and research http://www.mtech.edu/research/ , said the new award supports “new research directions on the campus and continues support for programs which introduce grade school, high school and college undergraduate students to the nation’s research enterprise.”
