Mobile workstation - Cisco bus brings technology demonstrations to small businesses in Missoula
| September 6, 2007 |
Staff from the Montana Technology Enterprise Center stared at a large flat-screen computer monitor that had just received a voice-mail message.
A demonstrator from Cisco Systems Inc. showed them how to slow the message, explaining that doing so would allow them plenty of time to jot down any rapid-fire names and phone numbers. The message could also be forwarded, like an e-mail. Or it could be locked, so the message could not be read by unauthorized viewers.
“That is so cool,” said Chella Markovich, executive secretary of the Missoula Area Economic Development Corporation http://www.maedc.org , which oversees the enterprise center.
