Great combination of posts with this and the article about EEStor, Russ! It's depressing to me that there's even a question of "will plug-in cars make it to market". The capitalist market is great for many things, but pushing societal change BEFORE reaching critical stage is definitely not one of them. Just think of the PEAKING demands on the system, the substations at 6:00 in the morning on a cold Montana night, we will still need base load electricity and not just wind mills. --tomas
