Timec arrival in Billings, Montana stirs interest among industrial work force

It didn't take long for the phones to start ringing after Timec Inc. http://www.timec.com/ opened a regional headquarters in Billings.
Timec, a subsidiary of Transfield Services, specializes in maintenance, turnaround and construction services for oil refineries and other industrial facilities. The California company operates throughout the United States but is trying to increase its presence in the Rocky Mountain region.
Barry Bolton, Timec's regional manager, said the Billings office has received more than 100 applications since it opened in early July.
"The office has been crazy, standing room only," Bolton said.
