Sidney, Montana organizations attempt to attract businesses to area

According to Laura Schieber, executive director of the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, over the past five years, five clothing stores, one pet store, two gift shops and one ranch supply store have closed down. Of the five clothing stores, one of them had clothing, books and health supplements.
“To keep the businesses open, we have to support them,” Schieber said. “And it’s something we just need to be aware of - that a lot of the things that we go out of town to buy, we can buy right here in Sidney.”
