The Vice President of Lands and Conservation is a member of the RMEF senior management staff and the Executive Team. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This position leads, manages, directs, and supervises the national lands and conservation department including contractors and associated staff. The Lands and Conservation department provides organizational and program direction (planning, technical assistance, training, and support services) to the organization in regard to conservation planning, permanent land protection, conservation and stewardship projects, and other mission activities. This position ensures coordination is maintained with Field Operations, Development, Marketing and other departments in developing, implementing and celebrating mission related programs. Other major responsibilities include fundraising, budget and strategic planning, program coordination internally and externally, organizational representation at the national level, and overseeing/providing technical and administrative oversight for Lands staff in the field.
