Fortune 500 firm scopes out Billings for possible new operations center

A team representing a Fortune 500 company looked at Billings real estate and made inquiries about the housing market here during a recent visit.

But nobody is saying whether the prospectors represent General Electric Commercial Finance, which announced in June that it plans to open a Montana operations center that will hire as many as 150 people.
