Position Descriptions:

These positions are available immediately.

Refinery Operator(s).

Four (4) positions available. These individuals will be responsible for refining, bleaching, winterizing and deodorizing a variety of vegetable oils to food and industrial specifications. Oils processed include, but are not limited to safflower, sunflower, camelina, and canola. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating process runs with plant superintendent and plant manager, monitoring process and oil specifications, tracking inventory, tracking losses, tracking consumables, loading truck and rail-cars, packaging smaller volumes, routine maintenance and generally doing what is necessary to get the job done correctly. If you enjoy detail oriented work with a high level of responsibility then you may consider this position. Opportunity for growth and promotion exist. Experience with liquid material handling and process monitoring preferred but not necessary. Training will be provided – so come prepared to learn. Cross training in other departments as well. Minimum education of High School or equivalent. Preference given to individuals with technical training or engineering/science degree or other processing experience. Drug screen required, EOE, 401(k), and insurance programs available.

Mill Operator(s).

Six (6) positions available. These individuals will be responsible for operating seed cleaning, de-cortication, conditioning, flaking, cracking, and expeller crush equipment. As oilseeds are crushed both vegetable oil and meal cake are produced. Operators are responsible for ensuring oil seed is continuously fed to the system, monitoring the system for production of each these products, taking routine samples, and visually monitoring product production and in general controlling each aspect of the preparation process. Oilseeds processed include, but are not limited safflower, sunflower, canola and camelina. Additional responsibilities will involve coordination with the refinery and meal department for shipment of oil and meal as well as conducting routine maintenance of mill department equipment. Opportunity for growth and promotion exist. Training will be provided – so come prepared to learn. Cross training in other departments as well. Minimum education of High School or equivalent. Preference given to individuals with technical training or engineering/science degree or other processing experience. Drug screen required, EOE, 401(k), and insurance programs available.

Material Handler(s).

Three (3) positions available. These individuals will be responsible for receiving and shipping oilseeds and meal. Duties include the weighing, unloading, and storing of oilseeds as well as transfer of oilseeds from storage to the mill and the transfer and loading of oilseed meal into both truck and rail cars. Additional responsibilities will include assistance in the refinery department with packaging of small volumes of vegetable oil and movement of refinery supplies from the warehouse to the refinery. In addition, these individuals will be expected to overlap within each department where needed. This is a dynamic entry level position that will provide new challenges everyday.
