Legislators Sound Alarm on ‘Crisis’ in Higher Ed

State policymakers are starting to pay more attention to higher education than they have in decades. That newfound concern was reflected at the National Conference of State Legislatures meeting in Boston Monday, where the opening session was devoted to the "crisis" in American higher education.
