Montana PBS Programs Feature State Businesses. "Business: Made in Montana"

The University of Montana student-produced program "Business: Made in Montana" is back on the air this month with a pair of episodes featuring Big Sky businesses.
The first program features High Plains Sheepskin in Helena, Trapline Lodges in Whitehall, American Spurs in Ronan, Mountain Spring Spas in Stevensville and MoJo Truffles in Bigfork.
It will air at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, on Montana PBS stations KUFM-TV in Missoula and KUSM-TV in Bozeman. It will repeat at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, and at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12.
The second episode, featuring Mountain Colors in Corvallis, Montana Rustics in Bozeman, Delaney Guitars in Florence, Kimir Seatposts in Polson and Granrud’s Lefse in Opheim, will air at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, with repeat airings at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 26.
UM School of Journalism radio-television students produce the profiles of Montana-based companies that do business around the state, the country and the world.
In 2004 and 2007 the program, made possible with underwriting from the Greater Montana Foundation and UM, received the Student Emmy Award from the Northwest Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences.
