Maine government steps in to foster venture funding

When in doubt, leverage.

That’s the method exploited by the state of Maine to bolster the funding climate for its technology startups. Never a hotbed of independent venture capital, the state released a report earlier this month delineating six programs entrepreneurs can use to cultivate their business in New England’s northernmost state.
