At Montana Tech: College advocacy program gets $3M grant

Upward Bound, a first generation college advocacy program, received a four-year, $3 million grant from the federal government, program officials announced Thursday.
The money will allow the program to expand to include the Ruby Valley and lower Clark Fork regions, serving 10 towns within these areas, Montana Tech director of Technical Outreach Amy Verlanic said.
