Every week or so, another set of statistics indicate a burst in the home construction bubble, or jobs lost in the timber-products industry.
So the manufactured log home sector, located economically at the meeting point of these two major industries, should be really down in the dumps, right? Wrong.

The log home industry in the Bitterroot Valley has weathered a lot of changes even as the rest of the U.S. timber industry continues to shed jobs and the construction industry has been in a slump.
