Boise State receives grant to start biomedical research center

The state Board of Education has approved a $1 million grant for Boise State University to establish a biomedical research center.
The Center for Musculoskeletal Research will coordinate work that’s going on in different labs on campus with professors, students and area physicians, said Julie Oxford, a biology professor who applied for the grant with other researchers.
