Montana Ambassadors schmooze business prospects at Seattle event.

The Northwest Montana Ambassadors http://www.montanaambassadors.com/ event held on May 15, 2007 was a big success. We had over 100 people in attendance. The room was filled with energy, excitement and enthusiasm for the connections being made between Seattle and Montana. This was definitely our best event. They just keep getting better.

We had a packed agenda that included the governor, Executives from SeaCast Corporation, and finally Team Butte represented by Paul Babb and Jim Smitham. Unfortunately, due to the special session of the legislature, the governor was not able to attend in person, however we had him live via satellite. He did a great job kicking us off and providing an update on the state of the state.

Mike and Bert Robbins then “made it real” by providing their company background and rationale for expanding from Seattle to Butte, Montana with SeaCast’s recent decision to open a foundry in Butte. We then wrapped-up the evening with Paul Babb providing an update on Butte and Team Butte’s strategic vision for the future. Overall a very impressive evening.
