Seattle startup i4cp gets $6 million

Think of online social networks simply as the domain of musicians, teenagers and computer nerds?

Well, the concept of social networking is moving deeper into the corporate world, allowing executives to share tips and advice on how to fire workers, deal with sex-discrimination cases and other workplace issues.

At least that’s the premise behind the Institute for Corporate Productivity, a new Seattle startup that is announcing $6 million in venture funding Wednesday from IDG Ventures Boston and Trinity Ventures.
