Montana State University Engineering Student, Zach Stordahl, Awarded Daniel E. Czech Excellence in Leadership Award and Scholarship by Business Graduate

Zach Stordahl won the second annual Daniel E. Czech Excellence in Leadership Award at Montana State University—Bozeman. This scholarship is awarded to an individual that works at the MSU Leadership Institute http://www.montana.edu/leadership , has active leadership roles, and demonstrates proficiency in up to 16 leadership traits such as courage, judgment, and integrity. Zach is from Moorhead, MN and is the son of Tom and Andrea Stordahl.

In addition, Zach is in his second year at the leadership institute, is a sophomore in Electrical Engineering, and participates in activities such as intramural soccer and the MSU Relay for Life. According to Zach, his best accomplishment was leading lecture where the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, David Trimble, spoke last fall. “After that evening, seeing students and community members come to hear the lecture, I had a tremendous sense of accomplishment” Zach said.

Daniel Czech, a graduate of the MSU College of Business, started this award to recognize and reward leadership ability among university students and to give back to his alma mater.
