A Montanan with a personal computer with Internet access can conquer the global business world, Microsoft Corp. Chairman Bill Gates and others said Monday at the fourth Montana Economic Development Summit in Butte.

“Opportunity for people is now less determined by where they’re located,” he told the 2,500 in attendance.
