LigoCyte Pharmaceuticals Wins Montana Small Business of the Year Award

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today that the senior management team of Bozeman-based LigoCyte Pharmaceuticals, Inc. http://www.ligocyte.com has been named the Small Business Administration’s 2007 Montana Small Business Persons of the Year.

The LigoCyte team includes: Donald Beeman, Robert Goodwin, Charles Richardson and Robert Bargatze. As the Montana winner, LigoCyte will now advance to the national award category with finalists to be announced during Small Business Week in Washington, D.C. April 23-24, 2007.

“We are pleased to recognize LigoCyte’s extraordinary research and development efforts. Their advances in the development of vaccines and treatments for the prevention of infectious diseases including norovirus and inhalational anthrax have solidly positioned the company for continued growth and success in the bio-technology industry,” said SBA Montana District Director Michelle Johnston. “We wish them the very best at the national award ceremonies in Washington, D.C. and look forward to honoring them, as well as the other award winners, at our statewide awards luncheon on May 4th in Bozeman.”
