In Cascade, a glimpse at marvels of science

Robots, moose tracks and fires — oh my!

Students in Cascade Public Schools got their senses filled with science on Wednesday during the school’s first-ever science day.

"We do a lot of things with reading and math," said Curriculum Director Kelly Glass. "We wanted the kids to see the value of science."

Not only did they see the value of science, but they touched it — and even smelled it — as they toured 21 sites dealing with everything from sand to animal hides, and GPS tracking to fire prevention.
